Untrapped is a faith-based short film written, directed, and shot by an award-winning Nigerian filmmaker Prime Leon Ogar. The story is centered on a struggling Christian family that is under the influence of some sort of satanic power. The opening of the film established four witches creating a symbolic chain with their hands, which signifies how they trapped the family from progressing. The director said the short film was 100 percent unscripted and 95 percent of the actors were first times actors only a few had acted on screen before, but to his surprise, they all played their role so well, he also said the story was meant to be acted by the women of his church, The Redeemed Christian church of God City of The Lord Ajao Estate, to mark the women's day celebration. But they decided to film it and stream it in the church which was super amazing.
The movie features gospel singer Chinelo Chukwu who acted as Cynthia and Kemi Alatise who played her elder sister. Some of the other cast are:
Joy Okon, Nathan Nwokeoma, Ola Ogini, Onyegbule Glory, Royalty Chukwu, Ozoemena Chinelo Nwabueze Isioma Udeh Uchechi and
Nnajieze ifeoma patience.
