Sandra Egbuna lost her only source of livelihood due to government ban on commercial Motorcycle and Tricycle popularly known as Okada and Keke in some parts of Lagos State, her story changed when she and her colleagues came out to protest against the ban.
Sandra who had an interview with Legit tv cried out to the government to regulate Gokoda instead of the ban, the 20-year-old rider said she sponsored herself through National Diploma (ND) from the proceeds realized from her motorcycle business and plans to further her education through the same source, she further said the ban will inflict hardship on her and her education pursuit will be cut short, she prefers to work hard and keep her dignity instead of engaging in prostitution.
Her words deeply moved the heart of Adepeju Olukokun the founder of kokun foundation, who took to his Instagrams page to request for her contact, his followers supplied him with her contact information, Kokun and his team paid her a surprise visit where he handed her a key to 2004 Toyota Camry.
Kokun shared the amazing story on his social media page with a caption which reads: "It’s a beautiful amazing Tuesday!
Guess what? I have seen Sandra who rides gokada she collected as Hire purchase but unfortunately, she can’t drive it again due to government ban!
But, God has proved himself, Today we Dash Sandra a new Toyota Camry 2004 for Uber to sustain her to feed herself, family and also use it to send her self to school in Yabatech!"
He also urged all Nigerians to show true love to one another.
