How to prepare a delectable jollof rice.

It's no news that African countries have been at war over who prepares the best Jollof rice. Ghana and Nigeria have been on loggerhead over who makes the best Jollof, even though they know for facts that our jollof rice is yummy and taste really delicious. In today’s episode, I’ll show you how to prepare that very rich tasty jollof rice your family and friends won't be able to resist. Let's get start... 

Here is the list of ingredients you need.

1.4cups of rice
2.6 large ripe tomatoes 
3.1/2 teaspoons of thyme &Curry
4.1 Tin of tomato paste 
5.Onions 
6.Garlic
7.Ginger
8.Salt
9.4 Seasoning cubes
10.Fresh pepper & black pepper 
11.dried fish
12.Crayfish
13.Vegetable oil

Things you should do first 

1. Wash your fish and pick out the bones
2. Slice 2 onions 
3. Blend your tomatoes, fresh pepper, and one onion.
4. Parboil your cups of rice for at least 10minutes or less, depending on your burner. Then wash to remove starch and dirty

Now let's start cooking 

1.  Put your pot on fire then pour in vegetable oil and allow it to heat for 5mins.
2. Fry your onion for at least 3 minutes then add in your blended paste(tomatoes, pepper, onion) fry again for 10 minutes or more until it's ready.
3.  pour in your parboiled rice, then your fish, thyme curry, seasoning cubes, garlic, ginger, crayfish, add salt stir it a bit then taste it, is the salt enough? If the answer is yes we are good, let's proceed, stir all round so that the ingredients will mix up properly.
4. Add enough water cover pot and allow it to cook. stir occasionally.
5. With heat reduced, wait till the water is soaked up in the rice then cover the pot with thick clean cloth or foil paper and place lid on to keep steam. Allow rice to cook slowly then stir with a long wooden stick to prevent sticking together and settling at the bottom.
6. Add little water if rice is hard.when cooked the colour will be bright in reddish-pink and grains scattered.
