Watch Covid-19 short film Rain is coming

Accelerate filmmaker project has kickstarted its entry for the year 2020 with the theme: Health And Environment, so far there have been a lot of wonderful entries. But the entry that stood out the most is a brilliant short film from prime Leon Ogar Titled "Rain Is Coming" its an amazing short film with powerful imagery, the short film passed a fundamental message in one minute which says a lot to both the people and Nigeria government.

According to his caption on his entry shared on Instagram, the filmmaker said his initial plan was to create a one-minute short film which will portray "crowd stuck in the usual ugly Island flood caused by heavy rain and poor drainage system. He says he wanted to create a character that is infected with COVID 19  Amid the crowd". But later had a changed of mind because such imagery will create Panic, the filmmaker said his film  "Rain is coming" is to encourage everyone during this lockdown period to help remove dirt from their gutters to allow free passage of water because the dumping ground will be housing viruses such as covid 19 from disposed gloves, face masks other medical kits, and the rain will wash such viruses to the streets if gutters are blocked, the  street will hold the water for innocent kids to play in,  because of the poor drainage system, he emphasized his worries, he said  "i am worried for people living close to the isolation centres"

Rain Is Coming!!!...my 1minute short entry for #acceleratefilmmakerproject2020 Theme: #Health & Environment @accelerate_tv The initial plan I had for the one minute short was to portray a crowd stuck in the usual ugly Island flood caused by heavy rain and poor drainage system. I wanted to create a character that is infected with #COVID19 Amid the crowd. Panic I know, but 1 minute has its limitations to be creative. Rain is coming one-minute short film, is to encourage everyone during this lockdown period to help remove dirt from gutters to allow free passage of water, the dumping ground will be housing the virus from disposed gloves, face masks, kits etc the rain will wash some to our streets if our gutters are blocked, our street will hold the water for innocent kids to play in, I am worried for people living close to the isolation centres. directed and shot by Ogar Leon O.Executive producer and actor @david_kel #Staysafe #rainiscoming #film #acceleratetv
