Man United lost 2-1 to West Bromwich Albion in a closed-door friendly

Manchester United has lost one of their two matches in a  2-1 defeat against West Bromwich Albion on Friday in a closed-door friendly. The Match which kicks off with Paul Pogba and Bruno Fernandes starting together for the first time, Man United fans were expecting to see magic happens as the two midfielders were starting together, but the fans were robbed of that joy, hopes were tied on to Pogba and Fernandes linking up but the two players failed to make the connection on the pitch and it resulted to Baggies beating them, even though the red devil knew how crucial the friendly match was to their chances of securing their transfer targets.

The Portuguese striker reportedly scored one goal and missed a penalty as his team was narrowly defeated. The teammates are hoping that the disconnection between the two players will be addressed when they play their next game with Tottenham on Friday next week to battle for the fourth position,  united are currently in the fifth position but if they stay united and beat Tottenham in their next match, they will be a point closer to Chelsea who is just three points ahead of them.
