If the Nigerian army fails to appear, we will take up the petitions as if they were not defended- Lagos panel

Following the statement made by Reddington hospital surgeon Dr Babajide Lawson before the Lagos judicial panel, confirming the hospital claim; that pellets were removed from the EndSARS patients on the night of the Lekki toll Gate shooting and that hospital received an overwhelming number of gunshot victims on the same night being October 20, 2020. 
A former member of a team of counsel who appeared behalf of the Nigeria army told the panel that the Nigerian army has disbanded its legal team, that's why they failed to appear before the panel to defend their case.
The chairman of the panel justice Doris Okuwobi has ordered that fresh summons should be sent to the officers named as respondents in the petitions before the panel, she said all other petitions affecting the Nigerian army in which complaints have been made against them have been forwarded to the chief of army staff with summons requesting their appearance in the panel, if they fail to appear there's nothing the panel can do, if they have nothing to offer, we will take on the petitions as if they were not defended". 
The panel has adjourned further proceeding involving the Nigeria Army to the 27 of February 2021.
