The Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde in a telephone interview with Fresh FM, on Monday, April 6, disclosed how he fought Covid 19 novel coronavirus in just one week, in his interview he claimed he fought the deadly virus with Carrot, black seed oil, honey, vitamin C and constantly excising to help boost his body immune system while in isolation.
The director-general of The Nigeria centre for disease control NCDC Chikwe Ihekweazu confirmed Makinde's claim in a press briefing of the presidential task force on Covid19 on Wednesday, April 8, he said 90 percents of Covid 19 patients recover without intervention, and what most patients need is support for the body to recover by itself.
He explains that most viruses do not have a cure, only the body immune system that defends the body, he further explained that they administer oxygen to patients to keep them alive while their immune system fights the virus.
